Yarra Capital Management has appointed Vito D’Introno to its newly created role of chief commercial officer.
He joined Challenger in 2007 after spending 10 years with BT Funds Management.
Dion Hershan, managing director of Yarra commented: “With more than 20 years’ experience developing new capabilities and building franchises in the domestic market, he is exactly the right person to take charge of growing the firm’s institutional, retail and offshore presence.”
Mr D’Introno added he is excited to be joining Yarra.
“The firm has an outstanding reputation in the Australian funds management industry and is particularly well regarded in the institutional market,” he said.
“I look forward to working alongside the senior team to expand Yarra’s footprint across the retail and institutional markets.”
